It was Covid. Lockdown had finally eased. People were allowed out again. And, apparently, Sarah was allowed to flirt.

Enter Luke: tall, handsome, and heading into a local Bondi pub for what he thought would be one last drink for the evening. Sarah had already spotted him while he was waiting to get in. Call it good taste, call it fate, call it a very well-timed night at the pub — either way, she had her eye on him.

By some stroke of luck, Luke ended up sitting at Sarah’s table. And from that moment on, Sarah spent the rest of the night coming up with increasingly creative excuses to get closer to him. Eventually, she worked up the courage to ask for his number. There was just one small problem…She’d forgotten his name.

Somehow, Luke still agreed to that first date. And, seven years later, we can confirm that was a pretty good decision.

Since then, we’ve survived three Covid lockdowns, celebrated one Australian citizenship, taken nine international holidays, and collected approximately a million memories along the way.

Now it’s time for holiday number ten.

Only this time, we’re swapping the Bondi pub for Athens, and we’d love for our favourite people to join us as we celebrate our love, our life together, and the beginning of our next adventure as husband and wife.

Turns out that “one last drink” was anything but.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
